Course Highlights:

🔸 Basic Adavus and Body Posture
Students begin with structured Adavu sequences to build a strong foundation in footwork, hand gestures, and body alignment. Attention is given to posture, balance, and stamina.

🔸 Rhythm and Tala Training
Understanding rhythm is vital in Bharatanatyam. Students are trained in various talas (rhythmic cycles) and how to synchronize movement with intricate beats and nattuvangam.

🔸 Abhinaya and Storytelling
Beyond movement, Bharatanatyam is an art of expression. Students learn Abhinaya—facial expressions and emotive gestures that bring mythological stories and spiritual themes to life.

🔸 Classical Repertoire (Alarippu to Varnam)
The curriculum includes choreographies from the margam (classical sequence), starting from Alarippu and Jatiswaram to more advanced pieces like Varnam and Padams, exploring both nritta (pure dance) and nritya (expressive dance).

🔸 Dance Theory and Performance
Learners gain insights into the history, structure, and philosophy of Bharatanatyam, alongside real-time performance opportunities to build stage confidence and presence.
